We accept a limited number of dinner reservations for parties less than 12. We recommend calling a few weeks in advance for groups that are larger.
Due to high volume & limited seating during our Sunday Brunch, we are unable, do not, and don’t accept reservations for parties larger than six.
We do not accept reservations for our patio / outdoor dining room. We will make every attempt to give preference to guests with reservations the option of outdoor seating if available. Please mention in your reservation if you prefer outdoor dining weather permitting.
Our "Outdoor Dining Room" is dedicated to dining customers where our friendly wait staff will eagerly attend to you.
Looking to enjoy drinks and small bites outdoors? Our awning-covered "Outdoor Sofa Lounge" is perfect for those seeking a cool spot to hang for Abbey libations.
During busier times, we reserve the right to limit outdoor table times to 90 minutes and we ask that non-dining guests consider the Sofa Lounge as we are sometimes pressed to accommodate outdoor dining guests.
We do not have high chairs or booster seats; however, as a family accessible establishment, parents are encouraged and welcomed to bring their own. Parents with strollers are encouraged to use our gated patio entrance as there are no steps.
We do not allow pets on our patio.
LUNCH & DINNER
DINING ROOM, pub & SUNROOM
Seating for lunch and dinner guests is available in the dining room, sunroom, and in the bar area. Reserve with OpenTable, call us, or stop in and see our host!
Seating for the Sunroom is limited to parties no larger than 14. Our dining room can handle tables up to ten guests with advance reservations.
We do not have private party rooms (i.e. we are not ideal for shower events) but can get creative in some cases. Please see Event section below for details.
The Abbey does not permit guests to bring their own food or beverages - including coffee, pastries, and alcohol into the establishment.
outdoor dining room / patio
We do not accept reservations for outdoors...it's because of unpredictable weather! (yes, it might seem nice today, but....) Upon arrival, we make every attempt to give guests with reservations the option of Patio seating if possible. During busier times, such as weekends, we reserve the right to limit Patio dining to 90 minutes.
Yup! Our patio is beautiful and it certainly is a premium hot spot! However, we often have individuals that elect to not order food and relax at our OUTDOOR dining room during peak dining hours. (meanwhile - you're hungry and want to eat outside) We therefore have a $25-check-minimum per person for those that are not ordering a lunch or dinner during these peak times. An applicable “Table Fee” will be added to a final check. Certainly, this fee does not apply to those guests actually having lunch / dinner in this area. (an appetizer is cheating!)
With this...ahem “Rule" ...during your visit we hope to be able to seat you on our patio quickly.

Still want outdoors? Looking to unwind with just a cocktail or beer? We want to take care of you!
We encourage you to mingle, meet new friends and to totally enjoy our awning covered Sofa Lounge. (Just please keep your feet off the seats!) This is a self service area. Here is where you can have a glass of wine and read a book / catch up with friends / play chess...and best of all it's shady, rainproof, and...there's no table fee! Enjoy.

Welcome to The Abbey on Butler Street.
We're always looking for reasons to celebrate! It would be our pleasure to host your personal or corporate Event. Our space is a beautiful place for daytime or evening food and cocktail gatherings. The Abbey is not a meeting only venue and does not permit outside food or beverages.

Event confirmation & cancellation
The Abbey on Butler Street may require a credit card to secure an agreed booking. Without a credit card on file, your booking may be considered tentative. Once the method of payment is received, your event is confirmed and guaranteed. All charges will be applied to your final bill and payment will be processed at the close of your event. A party may cancel up to 72 hours in advance without incurring any charges. If the party cancels within the 72 hour window, up to 50% of the final invoice total will be charged to the credit card on file.

The Abbey on Butler Street does not assume responsibility for any incidents relating to dietary restrictions or food allergies that are not communicated in writing to the restaurant prior to the event.
